Objectives of the Event: To commemorate the 25 th Anniversary Celebration of Siliguri Institute of Technology engaging all stakeholders of the institute.

Events organized:
- At 2.15 PM all dignitaries, members of silver jubilee celebration committee and students present in the campus hoisted the institute flag and colorful balloons followed by national anthem.
- At different locations of Siliguri Institute of Technology saplings of red sandal wood (Pterocarpus santalinus), Jacaranda (Jacaranda mimosifolia), Neem (Azadirachta indica ) were planted by the dignitaries, members of silver jubilee celebration committee alumni members and present students.
- At the main stage the main program began with the welcome song sung by Miss Priyanshi Das of BBA (Hospital Management).
- All invited guests were felicitated on the dais and the inaugural lamp were lit by the guests.
- Dr. Mithun Chakraborty, Principal Siliguri Institute of Technology and Chairman of Silver Jubilee celebration committee delivered the welcome speech. Through his speech he mentioned the glorious journey of the institute and future plans to achieve new milestones.
- Mrs Paramita Choudhury , HOD BBA read the message of Shri Satyam Roychowdhury, Honourable Managing Director Sir of Techno India Group which he had posted from Spain. His message spread the fragrances of happiness amongst all.
- Advocate Milan Sarkar, Mr Bhaskar Roy and Dr Tapas Chatterjee elaborately described the hurdles and red tapes of the founder members had to overcome to initiate the journey of the institute way back in 1998-99.
- After speeches students of all different departments showcased their singing, dancing and recitation talents. Colorful presentations of the students included Rabindra Sangeet, melodious songs of Lata Mangeshkar, rhythmic numbers of folk songs of Bengal to name a few. Marvelous renditions of the students mesmerized the audience as they exhibited the rich cultural heritage of India.
- Dr. Prabir Panda, OSD – Centre for Innovative Studies , University of North Bengal and Founder Faculty Member of Siliguri Institute of Technology, Mr Rajdeep Chakraborty, renowned builder and main architect of Siliguri Institute of Technology and Mr. Subhasish Kundu, Founder Staff member of Siliguri Institute of Technology were felicitated.
- At the end of the program sweets were distributed to all. Students of Hospitality & Hotel Administration extended their diligent hospitality services that ensured that everyone present in the campus carried some sweet memories with them before dispersing.
