About Department :
The Department of Business Administration (BBA) emerged in the year 2003 (Shift I). The BBA programs are structured in such a way that the students learn the basic of management skills right from the beginning. Also, students are taught the art of effective communication which focuses on building soft skills and managerial skills enabling our students to proceed in their career as successful business leaders or entrepreneurs meeting up the global challenges. Holding regular guest lectures by eminent academicians and industry professionals, symposium, seminars, workshops, and conferences are some of the noteworthy features of the department.
The three-year BBA degree programme is divided into sixsemesters. It includes core papers, discipline specific electives, generic electives and skill enhancement courses. Discipline specific electives offered from fourth semesters are in the following streams: Finance, Marketing, Human Resource Management. Students are required to undertake a micro project during the final semester.

What brings them together is their deep commitment to future budding professionals and their pursuit of excellence as educators. Our faculty members’ scholastic excellence is depicted through their publications in renowned peer-reviewed journals.
We offer experiential learning for our students through an array of activities like Social Responsibility Projects, Case study, Outbound Training, Role playing, Summer Internships, Weekly Presentations, Skill Enhancement Programmes and Dissertation. We support our students through our mentoring sessions. The students undergo training in organizations of repute to practically apply the concepts, tools and techniques learnt during the program in real life business situations. The students are given placement assistance and are placed in organizations like, TCS, Genpact, Bandhan Bank, Pantaloons, Fisdom, Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, Advance AI, Maruti Suzuki, Vodafone to name a few.
On successful completion of the BBA program, students have a varied career options. They are-
1. Develop a career in sectors ranging from FMCG, Retail, Tourism, Banking, Hospitality, IT and ITeS, Media, PR & Advertising, Consultancy, Market Research, Digital marketing, E- commerce, etc.

Mission: Our mission is to establish well researched and realistic business and technical practices to enable the students to meet the challenges of a fast changing environment. PEO1. To produce graduates who are professional, knowledgeable, competent and innovative in management and entrepreneurship.
