The Department of B.Sc. in Computer Science & Engineering is leading the way in producing highly skilled so ware engineers. It encourages the crea vity and scope of thinking required to succeed in the booming so ware sector. The knowledgeable instructors expose aspiring computer engineers to a demanding and comprehensive curriculum that is intended to maximize their poten al and keep them up to date with the most recent advancements in technology. The focus is on prac cal training and the overall development of the person's personality in addi on to teaching theore cal knowledge. Classroom learning, which is primarily intended for intellectual inputs, is given equal weight. The instruc onal program was created with the necessity of direct industrial engagement in mind. There are six semesters in the B.Sc in Computer Science programme. Core papers, discipline-specific electives, general electives and skill-development courses are all included. Eminent faculty members contribute a variety of teaching experiences from some of the best universities as well as business exper se. To help them become self-sufficent, the department hosts a variety of workshops and seminars on modern technology. T & P Cell offers classes on aptitute ability testing (Tips and Trics) and softskills development on a semester-by-semester basis. Furthermore , students may launch their own initiatives in addition to relying on jobs. To help them become self-sufficient, the department organizes a variety of training programs on modern technology. Students' entrepreneurship skills are fostered by SIT's specialized Entrepreneurship Cell.
