Activities

1. On 3rd June 2022 KAIZEN Management Club organised an Outreach program at    Apna Ghar Old age home, maintained by Mahavir International Seva Trust, Kawakhali, Near NBMC&H.   Objectives of the Event: To create an awareness of CSR (Corporate Social Responsibilities) initiatives. Total 70 students participated in this noble cause by offering lunch and dry ration for one week from their pocket expenses. MBA Students cherished the club activity being the host for the lunch for the homeless and helpless people. They came to know the CSR project details from the authorities of Mahavir International Seva Trust. The interactive session with the in-mates of the old age home shared their pain of being away from the near and dear ones due to unforeseen situations.Key takeaway by the attendees was how to be responsible for the parents and helpless people of the society by extending helping hands

 

     1. Organised inter department level "Impromptu Speech Competition" on 13.05.2022 at club house

24 participants from all departments of Siliguri Institute of Technology took part in this competition with lots of enthusiasm. Mrs. Aparna Biswas, Principal Himalayan Nursing College and School and Mr. Rajeev Chetri, Assistant Professor and In charge of Humanities Section, SIT acted as judges of the event. 

Ms. Shristi Majumder won the Champions Title with her wonderful oratory skill. On the other side Mr. Jitdut Gupta of BBA and Ms. Pranika Chhetri won the First Runner up and 2nd Runner up titles respectively.
