Department of Electronics & Communication Engineering, Siliguri Institute of Technology organized a webinar on “Recent Industry Trends in Electronics & Communication Engineering” on 20th April, 2022 through virtual mode.
Dr. Padmanava Sen, Research Group Leader, RF Design Enablement Group, Barkhausen Institut of Germany, was the keynote speaker in this webinar. He enlightened our students, faculty and staff member with his knowledge and expertise in the field of Internet of Things, Edge Computing, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Cloud Computing, 6G Technologies etc. His lecture encompasses the area of application like Connected Vehicle, Robotics in Medical field, Automated Industry, Smart City, Remote Sensing etc.
How the 6G Technology and the Industry 4.0 will dominate the future world, that was also discussed in detail.
After participating this event, the faculty, staff and the students were very happy and demand for the same kind of program in near future.
