Congratulations to Himanshu Prasad Saha, B.Tech 3rd Year Student from the CSE Department at Siliguri Institute of Technology (SIT), for publishing his original research paper titled “UNet3+: Modified InceptionV3 for Multicast Brain Tumor Classification using MRI Images” and winning the Best Paper Award in Image Processing and Computer Vision at the CML-2024 conference! Great Achievement, Farhan Khan, a second-year student from the Electronics and Communication Engineering Department of Siliguri Institute of Technology, has developed an innovative project titled the "Road Traffic Alarm System" for the 14 Engineer Regiment of the Indian Army. This system has earned recognition from the Indian Army, which awarded Farhan a Certificate of Excellence for the completion of the project.
The project is designed to directly address road safety concerns, particularly in hilly areas, where preventing accidents is crucial. Both the department and the college take great pride in Farhan's accomplishment, recognizing the significance of his contribution to road safety initiatives.
