Message from Head of the Department
 

The present business scenario is dynamic and highly challenging. A student has to prepare and ensure his or her readiness to exploit the opportunities emerging in this highly competitive market. Management institutions play a vital role in inculcating these values and help deliver to the rest of the world. MBA in today’s scenario is considered as a basic qualification for management positions be it in Marketing, Finance, and HR department of an organization. The major advantages of pursuing MBA is the exposure to the theories of management and their practical implications, understanding the actual organizational environment, the working culture and learning the ways to become successful managers in various disciplines.

In present globally acquired business environment, dynamic managers having vision, resourcefulness and proficiency to face the problems and challenges are in high demand. Keeping this in view, Department of Business Administration, SIT trains the students with quality education and skill sets required in business world. The department has highly competent, committed and proficient faculty members who are actively involved in their pursuit of promoting and disseminating knowledge through teaching, research and training. Various pedagogic tools are used that help our students to foster various traits of business acumen. We also concentrate on providing soft skills with special emphasis on spoken English, role plays, case studies, mock interviews, group discussions etc.

We also have a robust placement cell for industry interaction and Placements so that the students become industry ready when they pass out from the institute. We at Department of Business Administration, SIT are putting our best efforts to evolve holistic managers who will be capable of leading the organization in the most professional way.
